Moseushi Station was a junction railway station in Misato City, Lamtsu Capital City, operated by Harmony Rail Transit (Lamtsu). It was located nearby Tsubetsu Ferry Terminal and adjacent to the Coastal Industry Belt.

Lines

Moseushi was served by the Ome Line, Seiyo Main Line, Kujukuri Line, and Sakuho Line. It was the terminus of the Kujukuri Line and the Sakuho Line, with transfer available in the centre of the Island Platform. The Sakuho and Kujukuri Line platforms were seperate from the Ome and Seiyo Main Line platforms.

Platform Layout

The Sakuho and Kujukuri Lines shared one island platform, in an at-grade sunken station in the side of a hill. There was a walkway to the Seiyo and Ome Line platforms, and a transfer took around 2 minutes. The exit was adjacent to the Kujukuri Line platform, connected by an elevated walkway.

History

Moseushi Station was opened in 1962 as the terminus of the Kujukuri Line. The station was a very grand station for the time, with 2 platforms offering different services. When the Sakuho Line connected to the station, the terminal track was moved to the centre, and a second platform was built to the north for the Kujukuri Line, allowing for quick and easy transfer between the 2 lines.

The Ome Line connected to the station in 1993 as the "Misato Coastal Line", while the Seiyo Main Line platforms were built as a temporary solution, using the right-of-way from the failed BRT experiment to get to Misato station.

The station was demolished in 2022, with the Seiyo and Lamtsu Main Lines connecting to Misato via Kata, and the Ome Line given a new station, Oku. The Kujukuri Line retained the original platform, but with develoment in the area, a simple open-air station was deemed acceptable rather than the old grand terminus station that it originally housed. Thus, Shin-Kata has the widest platforms in the entire Misato City.
