The Sunrise Yamagawa is an overnight sleeping car Limited Express train service operated by the Lamtsu Railway Company since November 2013.
Operations
The Sunrise Yamagawa runs daily between Tai Hing Forest in Tai Hing to Yamagawa Station in Sorano, passing through Joban in the process. Border checks are only required on those who have purchased tickets to alight in Joban.
The Sunrise Yamagawa departs from Tai Hing Forest, going via the Ome Line to Misato, then Mihara, Ome, Central South, North Esplanade and then finally reaching Yamagawa. The Sunrise Yamagawa runs on the Ome Line, North-South Line and Pak Hoi Line. Service was suspended from June 2022 to facilitate repair works in Lamtsu, as well as the construction of the Misato-Mihara Bypass Viaduct.
