Lamtsu Depot is a train depot for the Shintetsu network. It is located in Oshamambe, Lamtsu City, and is the largest of all the Shintetsu depots.

Trains

History

Lamtsu Depot was constructed to stable trains for the Seiyo Shinkansen since it's opening in 1983. The depot was located at the north of Lamtsu Station. The Mihara Line Depot was also known as Lamtsu Depot, but it was demolished in 2022 when Mihara Line trains were relocated to this new Lamtsu Depot. In 2022, the Misato Depot located north to Misato Station was shut down and the trains from the Seiyo and Lamtsu Main Lines were moved to Lamtsu Depot, increasing the size of the depot by 50%.

All Shinkansen Trains going via Lamtsu are stabled at Lamtsu Depot.
