Tai Hing Forest is the primary railway station serving the Tai Hing area.

History

Tai Hing Forest was originally called "Tai Hing", servicing the costal parts of the then-small town of Tai Hing. Hakone was by far more important until the Tai Hing Upgrade Project was implemented, which brought some high-density residential blocks to the area.

Tai Hing Forest initially had one platform. The second platform was added to transfer to the Tai Hing tram. The Single-tracked Mihara Line only required one platform for services that were not all that common.

A third platform is being planned and will be the terminus of the Urban service of the Seiyo and Lamtsu Urban service.
