New Tshai Industries (Also known as NTI) is the 2nd largest rolling stock manufacturer in Sorano, but is the largest in New Tshai, supplying railcars to Harmony Rail Transit (New Tshai) and the majority of the private railway companies on the island. New Tshai Industries was formerly known as the National Railroad Transport Engineering Company of His Majesty's Public Servant of Sorano (空野陛下の公務員の国立鉄道輸送工学会社, Sorano heika no kōmuin no kokuritsu tetsudō yusō kōgaku kaisha), often shortened to Kokutetsu Sharyo, but with the privatisation of Sorano National Railways (Sorano Kokutetsu, often shortened to Soratetsu)in 2005, the company was privatised as well, and renamed to New Tshai Industries.

New Tshai Industries, as the successor of Kokutetsu Sharyo, supplies almost all of the railcars in the New Tshai region, to the successor companies of Soratetsu, like Harmony Rail Transit (New Tshai). It specialises in liveries and variants of existing railcars, generally produced by Kata Heavy Industries, which are then repainted and modifed to NTI standards. New Tshai Industries aquired Longhorn Heavy Industries in 2022, in one of the largest takeover bids in the market. This placed it on the SSE150 for the first time in it's 145-year history.
