The Moonlight (ムーンライト, Munraito), is Aotetsu's name for its long-distance night Limited Express services from Ome to other parts of Lamtsu. Most Moonlight Trains depart from 10.30pm to 12 midnight from Ome, and departure times vary elsewhere. Their day counterparts are known as Aoden.
Following the 2022 Lamtsu Railway Reconstruction, the following services are classified as "Moonlight":
- Moonlight Hakone between Ome and Tai Hing Forest
- Moonlight Misato between Ome and Misato
- Moonlight Ojika between Ome and Shin-Haebaru
- Moonlight Nanshi between Ome and Lamtsu
- Moonlight Iwate between Kawabe and Misato
Stopping Patterns
All Moonlight Trains follow the same stopping patterns, the differences being in the routes in which they take. However, all moonlight trains stop at Iwate, which can be called the junction station for Moonlight services.
