The Misato Frieght Line is a railway line that links Kata station and Mihara station in the Lamtsu Capital City.

Summary

The Misato Frieght Line was opened on the 30th of December 2014 using the right-of way that had initially been aqquired for the Mihara Line.

The Misato Frieght Line runs parallell to the Mihara Line from Mihara to Tsuwano, where it veers to the right shortly after the Ome Line via Sora Frieght Station (Now defunct) and using a series of viaducts to navigate the terrain. The line continues underground at the Sora Nature Reserve, and emerges at Misato City, where a now abandoned spur line would utilise a viaduct to get to Misato Frieght Terminal(Also Defunct), where service was possible to the Namboku Line for special service via Misato. The rest of the line continues downwards to Furudono, which was rebuilt to accomodate the Ome Line extension. The station was initially built with capicity for freight trains, but the station sees little frieght service due to it's position in a primarily residential area. The line then continues down to Kata Frieght Terminal, which has been since rebuilt to accomodate passenger platforms for the Vtuber Park Line. Formerly, Kata Station and Kata Freight Terminal were two seperate buildings, but they have been connected and now "Kata Freight Terminal" refers to the section of the station only available for freight service.

The line used to continue southwards, but due to Kata Station intersecting the viaduct that used to carry the line above the Mihara, Namboku and Yamate Line tracks, the line from Kata Freight Terminal to Lamtsu Freight Terminal has been abandoned and scrapped. It was suggested that that section would be used for a proposed extension of the Seiyo Shinkansen to Misato, but after the proposal and construction of the Misato Link Line, such proposals have become less common. Portions of the abandoned section from Furudono to Misato were used as the right-of-way for the Ome Line extension. The Vtuber Park Line, while marked as a seperate service on maps, travels on Misato Freight Line tracks for a majority of it's service. The Tsuwano Branch Line and Tsuwano Frieght Terminal were demolished to make way for the Lamtsu Virtual Youtuber Park.
